As a newcomer to Congress, I've seen firsthand why Washington is broken. Some in Congress seem to care more about politics and partisanship than about the people they've been elected to represent. To fix Washington, we need more independent leaders willing to make the tough decisions required to balance our budget, reduce out-of-control spending, and keep our communities and our country safe. I'm committed to being an independent voice in Washington who puts the First District first. Together, we will win in November and ensure that Maryland's First District continues to have an independent voice standing up for us in Congress.
